    2. I am so very sorry Denny. They do not understand the valuable service you have faithfully provided to us all. It reminds me of cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. Do you have an address I could write them at? I realize it will probably not avail much, but I need to express my regret about their decision. Seems the Zanesville Times Recorder folks have gotten greedy again and have taken down all obits that are older than two months. That means the links to the obits in the list archives that I have posted religiously, no longer work, nor do the ones in the Times Recorder Obit Index on the Muskingum OHGenWeb site. You can order these through them or get a copy of the whole paper for that day but online access has been terminated. They did this once before, when they upgraded their site and changed the way the archived data is stored making all the old links before that unusable but that was 2 years ago and all the links since then have worked, that is up until last week or so when they decided that we should have to pay for them. No use complaining, it won't change a thing. If you have access to Heritage Quest you should be able to find most of them from 6 months ago and to when they started adding the Times Recorder Obits to their files but this was a bit of a shock and I didn't find out about it until I tried to access one for another researcher. Oh Well. If you see something that might be of use to you, grab a copy while you can because I can't say how much longer they may be there. If you use my index and get a page that returns an error, then the obit is no longer online. Some are, most are gone.
