She was born Oct 26, 1929 in Zanesville. She lived most of her life in Zanesville and at her present address since 1964. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She attended First Christian Church and CMA. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution 1812. She is survived by her husband, George Meredith, Sr. of the home; a son, George Meredith Jr. of Zanesville; two daughters, Barbara (Al) Parmer of Chandlersville and Billie (Gene) Young of Mt. Perry; five grandchildren; five step grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grand daughter; two sisters, Beulah Stotts of Adamsville and Bernadine Myers of Malta; two half-brothers, Edward Jones and Chuck Jones, both of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, James E. and Mildred Holdcroft Jones; two sisters, Barbara Davis and Bernice Roll. Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm today at William Thompson and Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Calvin Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Zanesville Memorial Park.
