    1. [OHMUSKIN] Two Richard Latham Adams
    2. Jean, It's Marcella again. I'm pretty disappointed in not getting any answers to my query as to where Richard Latham Adams, b. 1787 in England, and who lived in Muskingum, tax records 1828, and who died in 1855, Zanesville, is buried in what cemetery. Seeing that we both have relationships with these men, I am going to call the elder one Sr. and the younger, born 1816-18 Jr. as they were called in the deed records. Your relative is buried in Greenwood cemetery, and it is possible that Richard Sr. is also, but I have never seen any listings for that cemetery. When I was researching in the Zanesville Gene. library years ago, they didn't have as much information on the shelves as what they do now. I bought a few cemetery books but no listings. You said that you corresponded with Peggy Barnhart and gave her the name of Pontefract, England to look up the family. What information did she give you. She did find the births and names of the children of John Adams and Hannah Firth, including the Richard Latham Adams you are interested in. I have researched both families, and she does seem to have everything correct except for a few items I take issue with. For one she has your Richard married to another Elizabeth than I have. I have her as Elizabeth Pritchard and in fact the 1880 census has a Jordan Pritchard living with the family designated as Richard's brother-in-law. And both he and Richard enlisted for Civil War service on the same day. I have a deluxe subscription to Ancestry which has been very helpful in census listings, but when I tried to go to Pontefract England to see what other info. I could find they came up and said for $299 that I could get the English, Irish, etc. info. They really have the genealogical information all tied up. Everything you look at they seem to own it now.. So if you wish to correspond with me more, write and tell me what info you have, Marcella
