Howard was born in Monroe Co Ohio, the son of James Henry and Martha "Jennie" Tidd Butler. There are several other children, including James Edward, Jasper Blaine, Rose Butler Rammmage, Lillie Butler Stewart (PA), Lewis (who apparently, but I can't prove or disprove it yet, died in an outhouse), and Arthur. Since I'm going strictly from memory, I won't promise that is all the children, but it is most of them. I have info on James Henry's parents and I believe his grandparents and one of his uncles, but again, we are looking at Monroe Co. for those two generations. We don't know what happened to Howard or Arthur. James Edward died when he was 36. His two daughters wound up in PA and his grand daughter is looking for her cousins from her grandfather.
