I took pictures and posted them on my tree as well as on findagrave.com. I took pictures of John's headstone as well as the surrounding Kelly family headstones, including most of his children and some of their spouses. John's headstone was unfortunately broken and placed back in the ground backwards. I am in the process of filling out the necessary paperwork to order a new one from the VA, and they have agreed to do so. I found it curious that John's son, William, of whom I am descended from was also buried there, even though my records show he never moved away from Preston County, WVa. Does anyone know anything about this? I would be happy to share what information I have with anyone. I would also love to see a picture of the farmhouse, if at all possible.
