It is for the recent History of Muskingum County that was commissioned by MCCOGS. The reference you speak of is someone who has contributed a biography on that surname. If you cannot find that book in your own library's genealogy department, try to ask for it via interlibrary loan. There might be a copy floating around out there that they can snag.
