I cannot find his parents! Have his photo, Union Army (Iowa) pension file. His wife, Amanda Miller was born in Greencastle IN. He was a carpenter by trade. Lived in Iowa 1860 to late 1880's, then to Independence OR & to St Louis 1899 to death 1904. I have a photo of a Joseph Campbell it states he was William's step brother. Photo was taken in Iowa.
