Jean, If your talking about the information in the marriage books, then the only thing you will find besides the bride and groom's names and the date is the person who performed the ceremony, sometimes. These were abstracted from the original records on file at the court house but not being among the privileged few who have seen the originals, I can't say if there is any more information. I would venture to say that if there was it would have been included in the marriage books as the genealogy society who transcribed those records would have been sure to include it. Sometimes the person who performed the ceremony can indicate a church congregation or a specific area where the person was a justice of the peace. IN a visit to Muskingum Co courthouse four years ago I found an affidavit for a marriage license that included the names of the couple getting married as well as a return signed by a JP or minister and of course dates for each event. On another affidavit someone else (a bro) applied for the affidavit and had signed for it. No other information was on it. Hope this helps.
