At the time that they emigrated this town was a part of Bavaria. I have conflicting information when they actually came to the USA. I know they arrived before the Civil War. LOUIS RUSSI's son LOUIS CARL RUSSI and his wife ANNA FREDERICA SILER also came to the USA. LOUIS and ANNA had 7 children: Louis Carl, Anna, Charles, Frederick, Philipena, Christian, and Amelia. LOUIS JR. married FRIEDERIKE SEYERLE and had 7 children: Frank, Louis, Ralph, William, Clarence, Herman, and Edna. JAKE married MARGARET DESELM (MAGGIE) and had 3 children: Karl, Nellie and Harold. KARL RUSSI married ELSIE M?? and had 3 children. NELLIE RUSSI married SYLVESTER TAYLOR. Unkn! own whether they had children. HAROLD RUSSI married ELIZABETH BROOKS and had 1 child. I spent five years in Germany and spent a lot of time researching the RUSSI ancestors back to the mid 1600's. I have met Russi relatives in Germany. Please contact me if you are interested in this information. I am very interested in filling in the different RUSSI family lines to the present.
