ERVEN, RICHARD (DICK) LORENCE Richard Lorence (Dick) Erven, born March 29,1928 in Zanesville, Ohio, died March 13, 2007 in Vancouver, Wash. Dick served in the Marine Corps in North China at the end of World War II. He was a Life Member of Mt. Hood Masonic Lodge No. 32; Al Kader Shrine in Portland, Ore.; Vancouver American Legion; Vancouver Veterans of Foreign Wars; The First Marine Division Association, and the China Marines. Survivors include his wife, Beverly, four children and nine grandchildren. A Memorial Service was held on March 17, 2007, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Vancouver.
