WHY?? i haven't a clue. fanny, their daughter would have been my g grandmother. her child, elizabeth..was MY grandmother. fanny died VERY young....after having 5 children. their father, H.T. WICKES?? was somewhat OF a rogue...or 'that's what i've gleaned. (hah) now YOU fill ME in...........ya hear??
