There is a Maximillion Robinson who was a Revol. War Vet buried on a farm in Hopewell Twp north of Brownsville. He was born in Stafford Co VA and moved to Fauquier Co VA and possibly Shenandoah Co VA. He migrated with a large number of VA families who settled and intermarried in VA and this area. My ggggrandfater Simon Hill also a Vet was related to him by marriage. Benjamin Robinson married two Stacy sister and my gggggrandmother Catherine Stacy their sister. Bob Hill Granville, OH Looking for Robinson's that may have migrated to Muskingum County around 1835. Mary Robinson, widow, moved to Muskingum County OH area in that time frame from Brooke County Va, or possibly from Washington County Pa. Mary Robinson had 3 daughters, Martha, Rebecca, and another, by her first marriage to a FNU Robinson. Her obit staes that her first husband died in Brooke County Va, but no confirmation. Maxmillion's children with DAR apps are: Benjamin, Sarah, and John Robinson. Looking at Glenna Baker & Marybel Lonas' cursive notes from 23 Mar 1955 and at "The Joseph & Martha Robinson Generations Pioneering and Meeting the American Challenge" by Wolfe, Rains Jr, and Fussell, they wrote in the appendix that that Benjamin & Phoebe Grant Robinson had a child named Mary b. 1821 but that she never married. I even have a picture of Elsie Robinson (Maximillion's grand-daughter, Benjamin's daughter) However, let's talk about the Hamiltons as I am in the Hamilton line of Muskingum OH as well (Elsie's mother-in-law was Elizabeth Hamilton). My Muskimgum Hamiltons are: Elizabeth Hamilton b. 1783 MD 1m: Robert Manly 2m: Thomas Plummer Ijams d. 1863 Muskingum and her parents: William and Susanna Brown Hamilton.
