    3. Hi, I have a problem in my research of Elizabeth Ann Sinclair b. 26 Nov.,1826 in Ohio. She married Samuel Francis in Muskingun Co., Ohio on 5 Feb. 1846. About 1855 they moved to Mo. and lived there the rest of their lives. During my research of Elizabeth I have found out that Thomas and Margaret (Duncan) Sinclair were likely her parents. They were married in Belmont Co., Ohio on March 21, 1823. They are in the 1830 US Census for Belmont Co., Ohio, St. Clairsville. with had 1 male 5 to 10 and 2 females under 5 years old. I then found out the Thomas died in 1837 and is buried in St. Clairsville. In some of the paperwork after his death it has wife Margaret and children, but no children names. In the 1840 US Census for Belmont Co, Ohio I have a Margaret Sinclair with no children. Where did the children go? I believe that the children went sent near Chandlerville, Richhill Twp., Muskingum Co., Ohio, as this is where Samuel Francis (Elizabeth's husband) grew up. Are there any school records for the 1830-1845 in either Belmont or Muskingum Co., that would help me in my research of the children? I could not find any guardian paper work on the children. What I need is a connection that Elizabeth is Thomas and Margaret Sinclair daughter. I also would like to find out what happen to the children and what were their names. Any help or ideas of how to find out this information will be appreciated. Richard Swank in So., California
