He may or may not be from the Rich Hill area. He was born in 22 Nov 1844, according to his gravestone. In 1862, he enlisted in Company I, 122nd Ohio Infantry. I'm attempting to track down any record of his parents. I've found an Isaac with a similar last name and similar age in the 1850 and 1860 census, but he's listed as a "Domestic", and is living with an older woman with a different name. He's next door to some Cramblets in the 1850 census, however, so perhaps his parents died prior to 1850. >From an undocumented source, I have his parents listed as George W and Elizabeth Watson. According to this same source, they had 2 other children, a John C (b. Abt. 1844) and an Elizabeth (b. Abt. 1848).
