Hello All! I'm b-a-c-k....... I have more information on Jacob FRAZIER now, so perhaps new stuff will help me locate his family. Jacob FRAZIER is in the 1860 Zanesville, OH census. His surname is written a "Frocker", so in the spirit of the movie so named, "Meet the Frockers" who are really the FRAZIERS. FRAZIER (listed as Frocker), Jacob: b. <1810> MD .....Julia: b. <1811> OH .....Elmira J.: b. <1844> OH .....Louisa C.: b. <1846> OH .....George: b. <1848> OH .....John H.: b. <1850> OH .....Jacob H.: b. <1852> OH .....William: b. <1855> OH .....Mary A.: b. <1859> OH That was 1860 Zanesville. I can't find them in 1870. In 1880, Wheeling, Ohio Co., WV, some appear. Mary A. is named as Alice & she is married (it seems) to a Brady ORMAN. Here's that census: ORMAN, Brady: b. <1940> OH, parents b. MD .....Alice: b. <1862> OH, fb. MD, mb. OH FRAZIER, Jacob: b. <1811> MD, parents b. MD .....Julia: b. <1821> OH, parents b. He married Isabelle Williamson FLORENCE and then died in 1929. His WV Archive death record says that he was born in Zanesville, OH. He is named as just William (Frocker) FRAZIER in the 1860 Zanesville census. A very nice gentleman, Bob Frazier, tells me that there is a book at the Muskingum Genealogy Society called, "Muskingum County, Ohio, Families and History." He said to look for pages 245-248. If anyone has a copy, please tell me what's on those pages. In the meantime, I'll contact that genealogy society. Best wishes to all and good luck in your searches.
