Muskingum County's genealogy society has many old obituaries in their library. Their collection is current from about 1970 and many people who are researching have added older obits. A project that the society is currently undertaking is cutting old genealogical abstracts including obits from old newspapers. A few years are in the late 1880's and 1890's, but mostly from 1900's to 1950's. Peg Spiker and crew are doing a wonderful job. These are also available in the library. On a person note, I usually check the Ohio Historical website to see what newspapers are available. If the years in question have newspapers, you can always interlibrary loan the films. Another great resource is familysearch.org as they have many newspapers. Since this is Perry County, I'd get in touch with Sue Saylor. If anything is available ther, she knows about it.
