They changed the way they store files and all the old links no longer work. They are also removing links older than a few months so even though I do index the older obits on the Muskingum OHGenWeb site, most of the links do not work. They are just there to let you know they once did work and you might actually run into one that does, usually within the last year. You can use the recorder's search engine and find an obit and pay them to see it. You can also find many of the Recorder's obits for the last several years on America's Obituaries which is accessible from many libraries and online through many library portals. The newspaper is also microfilmed and on file at the John McIntire Library in Zanesville, the Ohio Historical Society in Columbus and the Ohio University Library in Athens.
