Anderson, talented musician, who formerly lived in Zanesville, will give an organ recital at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon in St. John's Lutheran church under the sponsorship of the Women's Study Club. There will be no admission charge, but an offering will be taken. Proceeds will be used to help build a special fund for educational purposes. Immediately following the concert, a tea honoring the artist and his wife will be held in the Community Center. Mrs. Clarence Baker, assisted by Mrs. Alonzo Ware and Miss Emily Stubblefield will be in charge of arrangements. Music lovers of Zanesville are invited to hear this former Zanesvillian who has gone far in his chosen field. Mrs. Jessie Price is concert chairman and is assisted by Mrs. Edward Guy, Mrs. Grant Brown and Mrs. Augustus H. Goatley. Mr. Anderson, who is head of the music department of Antioch college was heard by a large and appreciative audience. Especially enjoyed was his own variations of the spiritual, "Lord, Lord, Lord" at the piano. Organ selections were Sonatina from cantata "God's Time Is Best", "O Sacred Head How Wounded" and "Toccata in C' all by Bach, Maestoso Con Moto from Sonata in A (Mendelssohn), "The Lost Chord," (Sullivan) and "Toccata in G" (Dubois).
