I found a history of John Gottfried Mayer and his children as well as an obituary of Gottlieb Henry Mayer tucked in a file cabinet. I will post on Ancestry. The brother's Mayer were involved with Mayer Carburetor Company, Buffalo, NY circa 1912. Anyone who might be related, I'd love to hear from you!
