NORRIS DIES; EMPLOYEE OF ARMCO Carl F. Norris, 61, of 713 Lee street died at 3:45 am Saturday, Oct 1, at Good Samaritan Hospital where he had been a patient since Wednesday night. Mr. Norris, a shearman at Armco Steel corporation plant, was born June 30, 1905, in Zanesville, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Norris. He was a member of the Church of God and Saints of Christ, Golden Rule Masonic Lodge, Columbus Consistory and was a 32nd degree Mason. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Elva Norris; a son, Marlin Norris of 532 Carey Street; a sister, Mrs. Goldie Norris of 923 Keen Street; a brother, Charles Norris of 717 Keen Street; and two grandchildren. Two brothers are deceased. Services will be held at 1:30 pm Tuesday at Wings of Hope Tabernacle with Rev. Edgar Norris officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
