Terrill, age 20 years, well known and highly esteemed resident of Cannelville, passed away at the Bethesda Hospital at 1 o'clock Sunday afternoon from injuries he received in a fall of slate at the Brush Creek Coal Co's mine at Cannelville December 27. At the time an x-ray picture disclosed a broken back and no hopes were ever held for his recovery. Mr. Terrill was one of the best known young men in the vicinity of Cannelville and his death will prove a shock to his many friends even though they knew for the past several weeks that he could not live. He was a member of the Lutheran Church at Stovertown and was affiliated with the U. M. W. of Y and the Red Men. Besides his widow, he is survived by two children, Mildred J. and Ina May, all of the home; his father, James B. Terrill of Cannelville; and two brothers and four sisters: Sheldon O., Elmer G., Mrs. Clyde Williamson and Miss Freda M. Terrill, of Cannelville; Mrs. E. E. Rarick of Zanesville and Mrs. Theodore Ashford of Roseville. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
