    3. I had a copy on how many grandparents, (all the greats and way back in time) we have. It is really quite a number. Example, My grandmother had two parents, and each had two parents , etc. BUT each parent also has grand parents and great grandparents (etc.) each of them also of them have parents and grandparents and all of the greats and each has their own lineage..... I am now stating this well, but I hope you understand. Does anyone have a site or any info on this, the way it adds up? I was sharing with a new cousin thatjust found me and I would like to share this with him also.     3. Hello, I just learned today that my oldest son is descended from this name. His 4th great grandmother was Margaret Lugenbil ( or any variant), according to his 3rd great grandfather's (Andrew Jackson Drumm) death certificate. Problem is the father is unknown on the death certificate, and cannot find Andrew in the census when he was small, he was born July 27, 1865 in Gratiot, Ohio. I have seen on the Muskingum board and the Licking board queries about Drumm's, and do believe that is where he was born. What I am wanting to know is if anyone has any information on Margaret's parents, David Lugenbeal and wife Elizabeth, David was born abt. 1814 in Maryland and Elizabeth abt. 1820 in PA, and have read about a Peter Lugenbiehl that came to America in 1750......can anyone enlighten me on this please. Here is my brick wall: Hannah ZARLEY (daughter of the 'Show Girl') born 5 May 1818 in Somerset, PA or Zanesville, OH; died 6 May 1911 in Nickerson, Reno, KS; married 24 Dec 1835 in Perry Co, OH to Daniel GRINDLE. Hannah and Daniel raised 11 children (John, Henry, Mary, Jacob 'Polk', Lydia Jane, Susannah, Alva, James, Margaret, Hannah Maria, Lemuel) It was passed down that Hannah's mother died when she was born. I've since learned that that might not be true. Possibly the family was ashamed. She was left with a Mrs. SKINNER (grandmother in Perry Co., OH) to be raised Family tradition says that Hannah (the daughter) was 'cheated' out of an inheritance by the SKINNERs. The reason has been lost through the years. Hannah's mother's name was possibly Hannah SKINNER (passed down thru family) Hannah's father's name was possibly Emil ZARLEY (of Fayette PA), who was French (passed down thru family) Hannah's mother was a 'Show Girl' who had a beautiful singing voice; Money was sent for her daughter's care, but it dwindled after a while, then stopped completely; Laura Koehn bradlara@sbcglobal.net
