My grandmother Ethel (Geyer) was originaly from Zanesville Oh., my grandfather Franle Roy was from Chester Pa. My dad Roy was born in Zanesville, and my uncle Don in Struthers, Oh. In 1814, he came farther west, locating near Zanesville, Ohio, on the Muskingum River, whence he later removed to Newark, where he followed farming pursuits until his decease, at the age of eighty-five years. The census readings were abbreviated as Hopewell was twsp in Muskingum Co. as I recall from quite a while back. The other readings were from Brush Creek twsp. I agree that the immigration from MD looked like all these folks could be related.
