My husband's great grandfather, William Schults, was born in Ohio in about 1836 so I think there is a possibility of a relationship between them. I have no information on William while he was in Ohio; I only have information on him in Iowa beginning in 1866 when he had a son. There is some question about the name of the son. Census records show his name to be Issac Schults but his marriage registration shows his name to be Richard Schults. Issac Richard???? Richard Issac???? I haven't been able to find anything to confirm either way. I did find one document that said Issac Shelby but that is puzzling as then it makes you wonder where the name Richard came from. Do you have the name of Margaret's parents? I'd like to have you share what you have with me; if you are willing so I can do some research and see if I can find a link. Dear List Members: My name is Julian H. Preisler and I reside in the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia near Washington, DC. I am searching for a person who can take a color photograph of the exterior of the two old Jewish temples in Zanesville. The old Kenesseth Israel Temple located at 940 Findley Avenue is now the home to a Community Theatre. The other old Jewish temple is Temple Beth Abraham located at 150 North 7th Street. I do not know if that building is still standing. I do aready have a photograph of the exterior of the current building of Beth Abraham on Blue Avenue. I am researching American Synagogue Architecture and am in the process of creating an e-Book on the subject. Photo credit will be given to the photographer both in the research project and upon publication. If anyone can do this for me or knows of someone who is willing to assist, please do get in touch with me. Photographs can be digital (preferred), but I can also accept regular print photographs and can scan them into the database. I have photographs of most of the current Jewish temples and synagogues in Ohio and am trying to obtain photos of as many of the former temple buildings as possible. Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to take a few pics for me at a couple of cemeteries. I am looking for Andrew Drumm died September 1, 1939 and is buried in Frazeysburg cemetery, his wife Catherine Drumm died March 4, 1944 also buried in same cemetery. Also looking for a Susannah Jackson that is buried in Adams Mills Cemetery she died July 8, 1895. Any help is appreciated. His wife was Sarah, d. 1851. My gr.gr.gr.grandfather, Henry Roberts, and my gr.gr.grandfather, Charles Roberts, were among a group of Roberts who came from VA to Ohio. I also have some photos from this cemetery taken in 2005. I also have a James W.
