Mrs. Bleigh was born May 21, 1912 in Sutton, W. Va., a daughter of Mrs. Gordon Dillon of the home. The father is deceased. She had lived in Blooomfield area for the past several years. Surviving in addition to her mother are her husband, Samuel; a son, Gene Bleigh of New Concord Route 1; a brother, Scott Dillon of Lorain and a grandchild. Author: cther5_1 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.ohio.counties.muskingum/1141.2/mb.ashx Message Board Post: more: I have tons of info on Minerva/Mary Anns later life; she appears in Madison, Jefferson County, IN, census 1850-seemingly a widow;(she was married four times that we know of); also have pretty extensive info on Charles family before the marriage; but we have searched and searched for their marriage info and brief life together. some info points to Charles being drowned in California in the gold rush; he was born in Warren County OH; parents William Cock/Cox and Rebecca Russel,divorced and two sons sent to father William in Indiana by 1840; The familysearch item I found was for an 1841 marriage to William Cox-that was Charles fathers name, and as he would have needed to give consent to the marriage, as Charles being born in 1823 would have been underage, I am hoping for a transcription error and therefore hoping to have found this brick wall(reinforced with concrete)solution! Bleigh, who was born in Milroy, WV (3/23/1891 or March 1892, depending on what record you're looking at) to Asbury Bleigh and Phebe Williams Fisher (they divorced) and died 7/13/1967 in Zanesville (he lived in New Concord). He was in both World War 1 and 2, and had one brother, Ballard S. Bleigh, a sister, Mary, one half-brother, William T. Fisher, and two half-sisters, Virginia and Amanda. Any other information about Samuel would also be appreciated. It says on his death record (according to Ancestry.com) that he was widowed, but we don't know who he had married, or if he had any children. Any help would be appreciated! I replied with an email, but I fear it might have gotten caught up in an email filter. I am looking for the death date of George Jones. He was born in 1829. His stone has sunk below the surface, so I cannot learn his death date. It has been like this since before my first visit in the late 1970's. What is the date of the book? Records indicate he had been reintered from Youngstown on 14 December 1907. He is in Section A, and within close proximity to Lot 14. Also in this same family plot is buried Florence A. Price. The biblical verse or poem has long vanished, but might this have been captured in the book? Her stone stands and it indicates she was born 16 March 1884 and died 7 January 1885. The third and last name that would be helpful would be for Mary A. Crow's birth date. I know her death date to be 10 March 1925.
