Specifically I am looking for Jacob, Mary, and their daughter Anna. They are supposed to have ran a hotel in Cannelville Ohio. Now, there is nothing there but a few houses, but at one time cannel coal was discovered there. It is hard to believe it ever had a hotel, but I did find a picture of a train depot there. Driving through now, I did not see evidence of train tracks. Anna is my great grandmother. She is buried in Morgan county Ohio. I was just doing some research concerning him today with deeds. The land on which I live was first entered by John Kelly in 1811. He sold it to Henry Condrade, on whom I have done more research, twenty years later in 1831. We live in that ancient house I know Henry occupied, as it's easily dated to the 1830s by the style and carpentry but may actually have been built by John Kelly himself. There certainly is a Rich Hill as I remember tracing some of my family to that area. There are researchers here in Muskingum who are a lot more familiar with the cemeteries and their locations than I, so I am sure one will come to help you. If not, I'll look into it for you. I don't remember seeing that John obtained this through the Script Warren Act, but think it was a cash entry. I am interested in this person also. There is a cemetery listings book by the Muskingum county Genealogical society (for Meigs and Rich Hill Township) that lists the names in order they are in the cemetery, along with directions to the cemetery. I recently had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Rich Hill Cemetery in Muskingum County, Ohio and find the graves of some of my ancestors (including John). I know there are alot of people researching this same family, so I am trying to get the pictures out to people. I know not where she is buried nor why he is buried in Ohio- anyone else have any info on this?) ~Joseph Kelly d. 1883 ~Alfred Kelly 1795-1863 and his wife, Emma d. 1871 ~Sarah (Kelly) Huston 1798-1879 and her husband, William Huston, 1791-1839 ~Abigail (Kelly) Neeland d. 1855, married Joseph Neeland (like William's spouse, also not buried here.) unknown relations- these were in the same area of the cemetery, but I have not come across them in my research: ~J. I am looking for information on Henrietta Sloop, the first wife of Bernard Zebulon Burch. B.Z. Burch was born 31 Jan 1818 in Presden, Muskingham Co., Oh. He married Henrietta Sloop, 23 Dec 1845 in Cass County, IN. He is buried with his two subsequent wives in Ninth Street Cemetery in Logansport, IN. Henrietta had one Uncle, Hiram Sloop in Cincinnati. Hiram's parents are not known. By 1850 B.Z. Burch has remarried and his son with Henrietta is dead and I assume Henrietta is as well. She is not in the same cemetery with either of them.
