Listers, I am having problems with Road Runner blocking all my Rootsweb mail lists and administrative messages so I have set up a new temporary address as list administrator so I can receive list notices. I will still be able to get regular email at this address but just won't see the list posts except through the new address, hopefully. The problem seems to be with Road Runner's new email system which they are implementing in groups, not all at once which is why some of you with Road Runner may not be experiencing a problem. I would be most interested in it. We are planning a Kipp family reunion next year and I would like to include the map. The two Kipps should be Henry and William. They were both born in Ladbergen and came through the port of Baltimore with their parents 15 September 1845. I was given a short history of Ladbergen in English. It discusses the reasons that one third of the Ladbergen citizens immigrated betweel 1830 and 1870. It also includes that Neil Armstrong's great grandfather came from Ladbergen and was named Kotter. I can send you a copy if you are interested. I will probably return to Ladbergen sometime and stay a couple of days. As I mentioned the Mollers Cafe owner suggested I should talk to a Untiedt that knows the history of the Ladbergen families. Also there should be records at the town office. These should allow me to check out the information you posted. I took a picture of a pretty old Wilhelm Untiedt gravestone marker in the church yard. When I download the photos I try and determine the dates. I can also send you a print of this and the church. One of their sons Robert (b. 1824 in Pa.) and who married Nancy Gibson is my gggrandfather. John and Elizabeth are buried in Salem Cemetery on St. Rd. 5 in Perry Township, Noble Co., Indiana. I visited the gravesite recently. Their daughter, Elizabeth, who was married to James Hall and who passed away in 1865, is buried between them. John's date of death is Jan. 10, 1872 and Elizabeth's Oct. 5, 1867. I did not have all of the names of John and Elizabeth's children, but suspected that Robert was one of the older sons. Where were you able to get this infomation? Do you know where John and Elizabeth were married? I would be interested in sharing any other information that you might have.
