I am looking for the parents of Nancy McCann, born in Ohio circa 1801, married in Muskingum County to Leonard Nims, 16 January 1825. The problem is, I believe that there were two Nancy McCanns in Muskingum County at about that time. One was the daughter of James McCann. I believe that she is probably the one who married a Mr. Barnett, then in 1830 married again to Richard Morgan. At that time, my Nancy was having children with Leonard Nims. In the 1820 Muskingum County census, Benjamin McCain (not McCann, but could be bad handwriting) had a daughter of the age that Nancy would have been. In 1823, a Nancy McCann is listed as a member of the Zanesville M.E. Church, but no other McCanns are listed, so maybe her father had died. Does anyone know who my Nancy McCann was? Dave Werts

There was no response, so I thought some of the Schaubs might have moved a little farther west. In one of your posts, you mentioned a Barnes family, of Wexford. Many years ago, when I read that a Daugherty family was having a reunion at Barnesville, Ohio, I thought that Barnesville must have had Irish settlers. I'm related to some Barneses, who, according to some sources, came from County Cavan, in Ireland. Others say that they came from near the town of Wexford, on the ocean in southeastern Ireland. However, when I saw the word "Cadillac," I realized that you're talking about Wexford County, in Michigan, not Wexford in Ireland!
