We have found nothing about her. I always thought she was a friend of the Hazlett family, visiting from Ireland. Others think, and are probably right, that she married Elza. Her father was a Morron, who was originally from Indiana, then moved to Colorado. I just found the Jean Morron House online, which is located in Peoria, IL. That Morron family was indeed ancestors of mine, and there is a treasure-trove of information to be had there. Unfortunately, the house was donated to the city of Peoria and is now a historical spot...filled with my family's heritage that I probably can't get to. She was the sister of my GG Grandfather Myrod Miller. I know they married Feb 6, 1851 in Lancaster, Fairfield County, Ohio. They lived all their lives in Marion Township and Falls Township, Logan, Ohio. I know they had 8 children, Margaret, Mary, John, Catherine, Sophia, Peter, Joseph and William. Son Peter Joseph Meiser was the only one to marry and he married Frances M Shafer, in Muskingum County. They had no children. I have all the Census records 1860, 1870, 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920 and 1930 of them in Hocking County. I have all the death certificates and the two marriage registers for both Peter's. None of the other 7 children married and they all lived and died in the same house in Logan that they were brought up in, 51 Hill Street. It runs one way beside the Catholic grade school. I know their son William died at a very young age in Dresden, Ohio where he worked with his brother Peter as tinner's, from a heart ailment. I know another son Joseph comitted suicide, he was a barber. They are all buried together in Oak Grove Cemetery in Logan except Peter and his wife Frances and they are both buried in Dresden. I would LOVE to find someone who's ancestors were good friends with this family and maybe has a little more personal information to share. I'll keep my finger's crossed that someone is out there. You may be right. So many people back then named their children ancestor's names. There are so many listings for John Morron and Jean Morron and the majority of them ARE all related. From what I am finding out, MY great, great, (and another great?) grandfather Morron was the only one from his family that came to Ohio. The others stayed in Boston, New York, Vermont, and Connecticut. Those ancestors became highly educated...most becoming medical doctors and PhD's in Theology. I am having the hardest time trying to figure out WHEN our first Morron came over. I can tell you that if you look up "Ancestors of William George Hincy", info was uploaded on 21, October, 2009 and there's LOTS of info within the pages. In addition, there is also a HUGE book that you can view and actually download on an e-reader called "Descendants of Eleazer Flagg" on openlibrary.org. Go to the index in the last pages of the book and see if "Hamilton" is listed anywhere, and it will ! give you the pages. I live in Stow, OH...how 'bout you? Morron, DOB abt. 1823 in Columbiana, OH, George, Robert, Lilzzie, Mary, Sally, Anna, Jeannie, Eddie, and Thomas. Elizabeth Revell's parents were William Rivell and Emma Louden Rivell. Other than Elizabeth (who was born in PA), their other children were James, William, Bulah, Geoge, and Frank. George (Elizabeth's brother) married Anna Marie Pettit and they had the following children: Lewis Rivell, William Rivell, Lizzie Rivell, George Rivell, and Andrew Rivell. My grandfather was John Boyer Morron, from Lisbon, OH. HIS great grandfather was the only one who ended up in Lisbon, OH. The rest ended up in New York, PA, MA, and Vermont.
