Her sister Ann Sheils Coughlin was in Zanesville area in 1860s, so wondering if they both lived in Muskingum County. Guessing that Margaret was born about 1827-1830. Could they be in Zanesville in 1870 census with daughter Agnes 14 and Frank 9? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have lots of info on the NY Sheils branch. What I'm hoping may make this possible is that they were teachers before they were directors at Avondale. I would need the picture to be in a jpg file at a minimum of 300 dpi. The only problem is I probably would need these pics in the next couple of weeks. If anyone is willing here is who I am looking for: J. Fred Lane became superintendent in 1935. Taught at Avondale Schoolhouse but probably in another school also. Jesse Hutson Became Avondale Superintendent 1945. Also was a teacher. Roger Russell 1971 Director Teacher at Maysville also possibly at Roseville. I would like a picture as close to 1971 as possible. I have one from the newspaper but not a great shot. I would also like a picture of John (Jack) Caughey but I'm not sure how to find it other than in newspapers.I have some snapshots,but not a good headshot like I would like to have. He married Catherine Wion and they are found in Blue Rock township in the 1830 and 1840 Fed Census. Samuel Nicholson ( I believe his father) lived in the north central part of Blue Rock. It is not my man, BUT I think it might be his son. I did not know he had a son. Thank you SO much!! If this David was born in Newton Twp in 1822, and my grandmother Frances was born in Virginia in Dec 1821, then we know they moved sometimes between the 2. It is another avenue to explore. My David was born in Virginia in 1795, married Polly Tigner in 1819 and moved to Ohio sometime early 1822. Frances married Nimrod in 1840. Old David came with 3 of his brothers, I think. The same guy appears in Newton Twp. in the 1850, 1870 census. He appears to have married Margaret Ann Stover on 15 Nov 1845 in Muskingum County. I have attached images of the documents (slightly reduced in resolution) to this message. Is this your man? If so, there was more on FamilySearch. Todd P.S.
