>From the McConnelsville Herald, 23 May 1873: Home Personal Our townsman, Mr. James Weeks, who has been a resident of Ohio for 54 years, left on Tuesday for a visit to Lone Tree, Nebraska. Mr. Cyril Hawkins and family left Tuesday morning for Bellfontaine, to attend the nuptials of Miss Fannie Lawrence, daughter of Judge William Lawrence. Capt. Sonnanstine returned Tuesday from his West Virginia trip, with a pocketful of orders for stoves and other articles of his firm's manufacture. Mr. Jas. G. Manly who for the last nine or ten years has been connected with the firm of Brown, Manly & Co., has opened a machine and repair shop in Mr. Luken's shops, opposite the wharfboat.
