Hi: I am looking for any information on the Asa family. My great great grandfather, William Asa married Elizabeth (Betsy) McVeigh and they lived in Windsor Township, Morgan County, as far as I know. So far I haven't been able to take the family back any further. There are stories that they came from the British Isles and settled in Virginia, West Virginia, or Kentucky before coming to Ohio. It has been suggested that John Asa and Sarah Davis were the parents of William Asa. William was born about 1795. I wonder if any one has that Census and could see if they could find any Asa or McVeigh families in Morgan County. Also, if anyone knows anything about the Asa family, please let me know.
