The Morgan Co Genweb board was just updated. A couple of new items are on there: Under the cemeteries and church section is the History of St. Margaret's Catholic Church Under the misc. section is a very interesting diary written in 1821. Even though the diary contains names from surrounding counties there are a few that are in Morgan. Under organ and inst the webpage for the library is listed along with the catalog link. ****(Yes I still have more info generously given that needs to be transcribed and put online-please be patient.) If you find out of date links, please let me know. Now as to the former Genconnect boards-- As those of you that have used them in the past know they are now combined with the Ancestry/My Family boards. THEY ARE STILL FREE! Anyway I've devoted a page about it on site. I'll try to keep it updated if I find out more info. For those not in the know this has given we administrators LOTS of reading material, over 2000 posts on our admin. mailing list the first 3 days! How does that affect the Morgan Site? Remember you can post queries in both places. If trying to find wills, obits, and bios, is too hard in all the information, I'll be glad to add a page specifically for these on site. It means more work for me, but I want you users to be happy. EMAIL ME PRIVATELY WITH YOUR THOUGHTS-- mailto:morgan@shannonsminis.com Lastly, My address will be changing. I have changed all my onsite links to a mailbox that will foward to whatever my provider will be. It also gives me the advantage of seeing what county you are talking about. I hated to change addresses after having this one for over 5 years, but I'm looking into highspeed access.
