My great grandfather William Ansell George was born to Isaac George and Mary Funk George around 1869, in Jackson Twp, Vinton County, Ohio. He eventually married a Sarah Brown in 1898, who may have been the daughter of T.J. and Mary A. Brown of Falls Twp, Hocking County, Ohio. Mary Funk was born in 1839, probably in Falls Twp, Hocking County, Ohio. She may have been the child of Joseph Funk and Sarah Miller, who had married in Muskingham County, Ohio, in 1822. Isaac George had been widowed by Catharine Rose George earlier in the 1860's. They had resided in Perry County, Ohio during the 1840 census. They were married in Morgan County, Ohio in 1833. I'm trying to trace the Ansell family connection, assuming it's the maiden name of someone's mother(that is redundant, isn't it?).
