Hello Bruce The Hosom info that I have shows a Lydia Hosom born abt. 1823, the daughter of Andrew Hosom & Sarah York. This info also lists her as Lydia Harper & maybe married to Gideon Harper. It shows at 26yrs. on 25 Dec. 1849 she married James C. Welsh in Morgan Co. Oh. My daughter Norma Smith forwarded your letter to me. My grandmother was Olive B. Hosom daughter of James Perry Hosom & Prudence Emaline Hindman. James P. was the son of Oliver Perry Hosom & Nancy J. Hughes. Oliver was a brother to your Lydia Hosom. I would be glad to share any info that I have.
