Hi: I am seeking informtion about the second marriage of my great great grandfather. Robert Fitch was married to Nancy Bentley after the death of his first wife, Sarah Barkhurst, was my great great grandmother. Nancy Bentley and Robert Fitch had at least one son, J.H. Fitch who provided an affidavit in the pension file of Robert Fitch in November, 1913. At that time he live in Taylor County, Iowa. The affidavit was given in Clearfield, Iowa. The affidavit states that she died in Morgan County, Ohio on or about September 15, 1875. I would like to correspond with anyone who knows the date of the marriage of Nancy Bentley and Robert Fitch. whether there were other children, and where Nancy Bentley Fitch might be buried.
