Does anyone have any information on William Barnes or his widow, Alice Ann Thompson (Barnes) (O'Daniel)? His DOB is unknown but he married Alice Ann Thompson sometime prior to the birth of their daughter Ethel Mae Barnes b. 07/12/1885, he was a Union veteran, was killed in an accident soon after the birth of Wilbert b. 3/11/1890. Alice remarried a few years later to a Mr. O'Daniel and moved to Kansas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Melinda Pickering
