While doing some newspaper transcriptions tonight I came across the following item of interest from The Cincinnati Daily Gazette, March 21, 1871: The Jacksonville (Ill.) Journel denies the Chicago story that John T. ALEXANDER, the great farmer and catle dealer of Morgan county, had failed and made an assignment.
