I am looking for information on Vincent W. McCoy. He was born in Harrison County in 1859, a son of John McCoy and Eliza Walker. According to Charles Hanna's 'Historical Collections of Harrison County,' Vincent married Ida Worstell, though I know nothing else about her. The 'Commemorative Biographical Record' of Harrison County, published in 1891, says that, at that time, Vincent was engaged in the practice of medicine in Morgan County. He died in 1899 and is buried at the Dickerson Church near Cadiz in Harrison County, though Ida is not. A 1946 note found among my grandfather's papers indicates that 'Dr. Vincent' had two children, a son and a daughter, but does not name them. I would be most interested in hearing from anyone who may know something of Vincent, Ida or either of the children. Larry Dickerson
