In 1850 there was a family of Fishers. Joseph and Judith. They had listed with them children, John, Elizabeth, Thomas, Hannah, Mary J., Rachel and Ruth A. According to other researchers both parents died before 1860 and the children must have been spread out. I think I found Rachel with an uncle in Belmont co., OH and perhaps John and Thomas were in Washington Co., OH for a while. Believe that Joseph was married prior to Judith to a Hannah Harry who must have died. He had two children by this marriage, William and Sarah. Joseph's family was Quaker and the children William and Sarah were removed to Morgan County MM after Joseph moved to Morgan Co., but they are not listed as living with him in 1850. Does any of this family ring a bell with those of you researching the Fisher families in Morgan Co.? Joseph was born about 1804. Children of the second marriage were born between 1833 and 1847. Perhaps some of the other Fisher's took the kids in. Thanks.
