I know going rates around here are $50.00 an hour and I find that steep, in fact, very steep, but the big companies here charge that much. You could see from the posting Shannon (OUR WEB MASTER) put out yesterday, all of the Morgan County records that are on film. She did not include the land records in the Recorder's Office nor the military records in the same office. A lot of these records are in the university library where I work, because I HAVE PLACED THEM THERE FOR MY USE OR ANYONE ELSE THAT WANTS TO USE THEM, THE SAME AS YOU CAN PLACE THEM AT A FAMILY HISTORY CENTER NEAR YOU. The university has the entire US CENSUS from 1790 through 1920. Sorry folks there is no Ohio 1790-1800 or 1810 census. They have been lost. There is a 1798 for Hamiliton County and a 1803 & 1810 for Washington County. I have published those for Washington. Realize, in 1800, Washington County which today is Marietta on the Ohio River in Southeastern Ohio just up river from Parkersburg West Virginia, in 1800 Washington County included the land where Cleveland is today, but there was NO Cleveland at that time. That is another story. I know what I am doing when I get to Salt Lake City, but I don't get there that often. I can check quickly in my own library. I am President Emeritus of the Utah County Chapter of the Utah Genealogical Society, by 17 days YEA YEA YEA, and I have professional university graduate degrees in doing this kind of research, so I feel justified in charging $10 to $15 an hour. My colleagues would SCREAM at me, I know, but I look at it as trying to help, not trying to make a living. Realize what I said in that earlier posting, I have extremely time consuming responsibilities as a Father with our son and in fact I must go now. Good night. --------------F651911EF05F365B397C816E Content-Type: text/x-vcard; charset=us-ascii; name="kha.vcf" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Description: Card for Haybron Adams Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="kha.vcf" begin:vcard n:Adams;Mr. K.
