In recent years I have not gotten any response even if I prepay the requests for information. The checks were never cashed so I imagine that correspondences were just deposited in the trash. I stopped at the courthouse on two visits to Ohio and found that many of the records are in large heavy books that are stored on the second floor and the attic. The copying machines are on the first floor. They probably have limited help and many requests for information.
