I have just revamped the OHGenWeb Research Exchange page. This should make it easier and faster loading. It was just getting over grown. This is a page where people are willing to exchange research where they live for some research done in Ohio. OR people in Ohio that are willing to do research in their OH county in exchange for research done in another state. There are even some foreign countries listed. Please let me know if you find any errors or non-working links. I have tried it with both Microsoft IE and with Netscape. They both work for me. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohresrch/resexch.html Peace, Judy Chapin Kelble Assistant State Coordinator OHGenWeb http://www.scioto.org/OHGenWeb Webmaster Huron County Chapter/OGS http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohhuron List Owner Huron County Chapter / OGS mail list Past President Huron County Chapter / OGS ==== OHGEN Mailing List ==== OHGenWeb Project http://www.scioto.org/OHGenWeb/index.html

    1. [OHMORGAN-L] Eli Jefferson Hagerman
    2. Just makeing another post in case there is someone out there that might have an occurance in some family line or document with his name. Looking for the parents of or siblings of ELI JEFFERSON HAGERMAN (Hagaman Hageman) born 13 Dec. 1822 in Washington Co. OH, Waterford Twp. That area then turned into Morgan Co. OH abt. 1824. He married Amy Scott Morgeriedge in 1843 then with his family, they left in 1856 to Harrison Co. IA. Earliest record I have for him is his being considered for communion when he w as 16 is a record of the Presbyterian Congregation of Windsor, Stockport, Ohio. 1838 I have found what I think are clues but nothing has ever come out of them. In 1843 there was a gaurdianship granted to Eli with James Legget and money was paid to his father-in-law or father-in-law to be, the reason was never written. Hannah Hagerman b. late 1820’s, daughter of William Hagerman & married in 1850, the same James Legget as mentioned above in Morgan Co. OH. I am only presuming this but I believe this Hannah Hagerman and Eli to be cousins. William Hagerman is Hannah's father and William is the son of George Hagerman/Hagaman of Lycoming Co. PA I am trying to find out more about the family of George Hagerman. He might have had a James Hagerman that came from PA to Ohio, I've looked at everthing I can to determine if this James Hagerman who appears in 1820 in Washington Co. OH is Eli's father, so far nothing is conclusive. My fun family space alien dropped in a field in OH. Cidney

    3. Am looking for information on two Morgan county photographers from the 1800's. Came across these thru an acquaitance who had tin types purchased in Pittsburg, PA in an album labeled Custer Family. Two of the photos had the photographers identified as being from Morgan county. The person with the photos is assuming (incorrectly I think) that they were taken in Morgan but photographers traveled long distances back then to keep busy. Anyhow, I am looking for information on: S.B. DOUDNA, Photographer, Chester Hill, O. and W.C.TRESIZE, Photographer, McConnelsville, O. I know Doudna was a familiar name around Marion Twp. and Chesterhill but have never heard the Tresize name in Morgan county. David Kinney
