I am doing research on the Brown family, from Center Township, Monroe County. John Brown, Josiah H. Brown, Sr. John Brown married Matilda Drum, nee Ferrell, widow of Henry Drum. Matilda & John were married approximately 9 years, and had 4 sons. Two sons were Lewis, born 1848, Josiah, born 1849 0r 50, and Albert Franklin, born in 1852. John Brown died in 1858, and we have been unable to locate Matilda and sons on 1860 census. She reportedly sold their land to Isabell Brown Hawkins, eldest daughter of John Brown and his first wife and moved west. West Ohio or another state. Any help would be appreciated.
