I made my first posting to this list today, and was told I did it wrong. Oh, well... I guess I misunderstood, thinking that the person who suggested this wanted just a roll call of surnames. Anyway, our lines go back to William MCFADDEN, who was born 3 Jul 1835 in MD and his wife Louisa DAY, born 18 Dec 1836. Her father was Amorah DAY born 8 Apr 1787 in VA, and her mother was Elizabeth RILEY. Amorah's father was Sylvanus DAY. Our MORRISON line is in Monroe County with James Hanson MORRISON, born 1 Oct 1854in Noble County, but residing in Monroe County with his wife, Adelaide Vinson BRAND, born 1 Oct 1858. The generation before them (on both sides) was in Noble County. All of these people appear to have lived in Bethel Township, and several are buried in the Creighton Ridge Cemetery.
