Hi - I recently purchased "Monroe Co. Church Records: 19th Century Records of Lewisville, Middle & Miltonsburg German Evangelical Protestant Churches" by Shirley Harmon. This is a compilation of the family books, baptism, marriage, death records etc. from the 3 German Churches. This volume is chock full of wonderful genealogy information! I started looking at the index in the back, as I knew that several of my families would be in there (Schaub, Jacky/Yockey, Stoehr, Neuhart, Wieneke). But I got so engrossed in the book that I started from page 1, and read it page by page! You can really see the families and their relationships and connections because of the witnesses to marriages and baptisms, plus where they came from in Germany. It's well laid out, and easy to look through. I heartily recommend this to anyone who has German connections in Monroe County.
