    3. Hi, Still looking for our BOTTS, and finding roadblocks all the way. Came across a marriage record in "Monroe Co. Genealogical Records, Vol. 9" in our local library. It said "Married on the 30th of March, 1862 by Rev. Frederick Wucherer, Mr. Jacob BOTT and Miss Salome JUNG all of this county." Have checked David Distler's site and although there are several JUNGS, there was no Salome listed. I have a feeling this may be our gr gr grandfather Jacob BOTT, born 1839, as his son Jacob was born in 1865, and 1870 census shows Jacob Sr. married to Elizabeth , who was Jacob's stepmother, which we've been able to prove as he married Elizabeth POHLMAN/BOEHLMANN on Sep. 2, 1866. Could this Salome JUNG have been Jacob Jr.'s mother and possibly died giving birth or shortly thereafter? Does anyone have information as to when Salome JUNG-BOTT may have died and is buried? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Pat Owens
