    3. You are mistaken about the copyright issue... In most cases the companies DO NOT abridge the rights of the original info compilers. Read the notices on their webpages... they are generally fair. THis discussion went on on another list, Macoupin-L, from Illinois... A gentleman from Ancestry explained their position very carefully and I agree with it.
