Hi I am assuming Lydia Barrett was from Belmont Co., Ohio, She and George Monroe were married in Belmont Co., Ohio on September 30, 1830. In the 1850 census she is listed as being born in Ohio. I really haven't did any research on her as the problem of figuring out the Monroe family is enough. I also work on many many other ancestors. Some like Leak, Lappin, Starbuck, Gray, Brewer. Starkey were all in Belmont Co., Ohio and I have another list in Monroe Co., Ohio. George Monroe died in Appanoose Co., Iowa in 1908 and I might have more information on her in another file, but have all my children and grandchildren coming for the week, so give me time to look this up.
