They are: Elvira McVay b. 1/9/1803, d. 12/7/1892 and her father Benjamin McVay b. 4/10 1765, d. 1/6/1848. Benjamin and his wife Sarah (Lindley) Linn are both buried in the Sutherland Cemetary in Monroe County, OH. However, since I have only the two documented, Your McVays could very will be related and probably were. .4 BARNETT WILLIAMSON1884 - 1963 ..........................+GRACE CLINE Your Grace Cline leaves me puzzled. I have several Clines in my tree and have traced them all the way back to Northern Germany to George Cline Sr. who was born in Northern Germany in about 1740. His son, John Cline Jr. was the father of Gideon Cline. My paternal grandmother was Mary Ann Cline, daughter of Gideon Cline. John Cline, Jr. was married to Elvira McVay. That makes them my gggrandparents. Thus the two lines in my family tree. However, John and Elvira had 17 children and I don't have the descendants for all of them. I imagine that is where your Grace Cline comes in. As far as the Halls in my research are concerned, there is only one thus far; M.J. (Mattie) Hall, who married my maternal ggrandfather James Owen Wakefield McElroy. They were married in Franklin, TN on 13 Jun 1876. I have no other information on her except that family tradition says she was a full blood Cherokee Indian that refused to be associated with the Indians (or enrolled in the rolls) because of the stigma attached. I appreciate your trying to help me, but it looks like, in this case, there is no immediate match. ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~ Maryann Dixon Moseby Mailto: dixlan2@aol.com ICQ: 1631995, AOL IM: dixlan2 Geneology Lines: BUCHANAN, BUCK, CLINE, DIXON, FIGLEY, HABARLE/HEBERLY, HALL, HYDER, ICE, KING, McCLENDON, McELROY, McVAY, MOSEBY, MOSIER ~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~^~
